Description
This project is a study to undertake an assessment of the existing constraints at each of the five sites and to include an options analysis study, following the options analysis study will be an MCA process and selection of a prefered concept, then the concept design will be undertaken on the prefered option. The 5 sites include the following;
Minnie Street – Rosella Street (Cedar Creek Road to Honeyeater Street), Upper Kedron
Seventeen Mile Rocks Road / Goggs Road / Centenary Highway Ramps, Sinnamon Park
Musgrave Road / Cochrane Street, Red Hill
Green Camp Road / New Cleveland Road / Molle Road, Gumdale/Ransome
Waterworks Road / Greenlanes Road, Ashgrove
Role
DYKMAN Consulting has been appointed by BCC to undertake the Options Analysis phase of each of the five sites, inclusive, of the Project is to develop a Concept Design and Costings that are most advantageous for each site and provide finalisation of concept design and documentation to allow the project to proceed to Preliminary and Detailed Design.
Challenges & Achievements
Key challenges the team has faced to-date include an analysis of the existing constraint / issues at each site including PUP and to underake traffic analysis to determine the current level of service. The team has prepared presentation material of the existing base case sinareo and conducted a workshop with BCC to gain agreement on the existing issues as well as developing possible solutions. The team also collaborated with BCC via a MCA workshop to determine the preferred concept for each site.
